CORE March Mixer

Join us for CORE’s March Mixer and annual meeting on Friday the 18th. Tickets are FREE for CORE members, non-members may purchase tickets for $25ea. Get tickets hereIf you wish to join CORE, please submit a membership request.

You will hear about the latest changes to legal and policy changes affecting your business as well as commentary on the industry from these feautred speakers:

  • Rep. Chris Hurst – As the chair of the Commerce and Gaming Committee in the State House, he sponsored and passed much of the legislation affecting our industry, and is a policy leader in Olympia. 
  • City Attorney Pete Holmes – Attorney Pete Holmes recently announced increased efforts in Seattle to crack down on illegal marijuana services and also advocated for a delivery pilot program in the city. 
  • Seattle City Councilmember Lisa Herbold – Councilmember Herbold is a long-time supporter of the legal marijuana industry and frequently leads on cannabis policy issues facing the city. 
  • Andrei Edwards, Tiller – Tiller is a sun-grown farming cooperative located in Wenachee, WA. Andrei will be discussing the evolution of branding and marketing in the industry.
  • Logan Bowers, CORE President – Logan is the current president of the CORE board and will recap the legislative session in Olympia for 2016, the latest changes to the LCB rules, and how they will affect your businesses in the coming months. 

Following the presentations, CORE will conduct its annual business, including:

  • Vote on changes to the bylaws of CORE
  • Elect a new Board of Directors (President, Secretary, Treasurer, and two At-Large seats)
  • Address and vote on any business brought forth by members of CORE
